Complete the story and description
The Thomass-Eck is a residential and commercial building on Marienplatz in Munich . The main station of the city of Munich used to be housed in the building. The now six-storey corner building with stucco decor on the first to third floors in the Rococo style was built in the years 1769–71 as a largely new building by François de Cuvilliés the Elder. J. , presumably over an older core . In 1870 two storeys were raised and the building with house number 2 was merged. After damage from the Second World War , a simplified reconstruction took place in 1950.
The house is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.
location
