The Thonburi University Football Club ( Thai : สโมสร ฟุตบอล มหาวิทยาลัย ธนบุรี) is a Thai football club from Bangkok , which plays in the Thai League 4 - Bangkok Metropolitan Region, the fourth highest Thai division.
history
The club was founded in 2016 under the name Thonburi University FC under the direction of Thonburi University. The club started in its first season in Division 3 in the Central Region. After the league reform in 2017, the club played in the Thailand Amateur League . In 2018 the club became champions of the Bangkok region and was promoted to the Thai League 4 . Here the club was assigned to the Bangkok Metropolitan Region. The club's greatest success so far was reaching the round of 16 in the Thai League Cup in 2019 .
