Thor and Football Association Berlin

The Thor and Football Association Berlin (TuFB) is a former German football association from Berlin . It was founded on February 13, 1894 and only existed for one year.

history

The TuFB was founded by 11 clubs, including BFC Hertha 1892 , BTuFC Union 1892 u. the cricket club Germania 1891. Most of these clubs were younger clubs that on the one hand feared that they would not be accepted into the established German Football and Cricket Federation (DFuCB) and on the other hand did not agree with its principles and management.

Only six of the member clubs took part in the championship games of 1894/95. The point games came to an early end at the beginning of December 1894 after the participating teams had only played two to four games. Up to that point, a number of scheduled championship games had already been canceled because teams did not appear or there was no referee to direct the game. At that time, the table was topped by BFC Borussia.
