Þórhildur Þorleifsdóttir
Þórhildur Þorleifsdóttir (German transcription Thorhildur Thorleifsdottir ; born March 25, 1945 in Ísafjörður , Iceland ) is an Icelandic director , actress , dancer and politician .
Life
Þórhildur works as a director on Icelandic television. She also directs opera and theater performances and works as a choreographer . From 1996 to 2000 she was artistic director at the Reykjavík City Theater .
In her political career, she was a member of the Women's Alliance in Alþingi , the Icelandic parliament, between 1987 and 1991 .
Þórhildur has been married to Icelandic actor Arnar Jónsson since 1965 . Her children include the actress Sólveig Arnarsdóttir , who is also known in Germany, and the opera and theater director Þorleifur Örn Arnarsson, who has been employed at the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden since the 2014/2015 season .
