Thorstein Gundersen (born September 22, 1912 , † August 9, 1965 in Hamar , Norway) was a Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Gundersen celebrated his first success at the Norwegian Championships in Molde in 1935 . He won the bronze medal behind Arne B. Christiansen and Karl Bull . A short time later at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1935 , Gundersen reached fifth place in jumping from the normal hill, in which five of the six best Norwegians were Norwegian, and thus only missed the medal ranks by two places.
