Torsten Svensson
Torsten Svensson , partly also Thorsten Svensson , (born October 8, 1901 in Partille , † June 29, 1954 in Jonsered , Partille municipality ) was a Swedish football player .
career
Svensson played for GAIS Göteborg . Between 1924 and 1928 he ran for the club in 72 games in the Allsvenskan and was able to score 26 goals. In 1925 and 1927 he was first in the league with the club, but the Swedish championship title was not officially awarded at the time.
Svensson made his debut for the Swedish national team in 1924 . With the national selection he took part in the Olympic Games in 1924 and won the bronze medal. In total, he ran six times in the Jersey of the Swedish national team and was able to score two goals.
