Three Sixes is a project founded in 1998 by the artist Damien LaVey from Orange County , which aims to combine music from different genres such as metalcore , death metal and thrash metal .
Band history
In 1998 Damien LaVey started the studio project Three Sixes and released his debut album Possession a year later after signing a contract with Universal Sign Records. Shortly thereafter, he was allowed to choose a fixed line-up for live performances, whereupon he decided on the three musicians under the stage names Killswitch, Whiskey and Konnyaku. They played together at concerts and shows in clubs or at events. The song Lord of the Dead became part of the horror film Hell Asylum by producer Danny Draven . On October 13, 2002, the second album Salvationless was released , a success in many ways, as the song God Denied was played on a show on Fox Sports Net. The band also appeared for the first time with well-known bands such as Body Count , Death Angel , Powerman 5000 , Genitorturers or Strapping Young Lad .
In early 2004, the band reappeared in horror films. In October of the same year, their third self-titled album, Three Sixes , was released, which included songs from the other two albums. In May 2008, Damien LaVey announced that he would start recording another fourth album.
