Genitorturers is an American industrial metal / industrial rock band with electronic and hardcore punk influences. The band describes itself as "the world's sexiest rock band" .
history
The band was formed in 1991 by singer Gen, the wife of David Vincent , singer and bassist of Morbid Angel , in Orlando , Florida . This was as a studio bassist on the published 1993 debut album, 120 Days of Genitorture under the pseudonym Evil D involved. The album was released on IRS, a sub-label of Capitol Records . An extensive tour of the United States and Europe followed. After the bankruptcy of their label IRS, the group was initially without a record deal, but released a video with Society of Genitorture in 1997 as a sign to their fans that the group is still active. The band then went on tour with The Electric Hellfire Club . On behalf of Cleopatra Records , Genitorturers covered the AC / DC title Squealer for a tribute album and was then signed by the label. In 1998 the second album Sin City was released there . In the following years, the band members dedicated themselves to their solo projects, before the EP Flesh Is the Law was released in 2002 by Dreamcatcher Records. After the release of the DVD Sin City Live 2007, it was again quiet around the group before the end of 2009 in the US and 2010 in Europe, the so far last album Blackheart Revolution of Season of Mist has been published.
The stage shows contain explicit representations from the BDSM area. For each concert, we are looking for people who are willing to participate as performers within the scope of their capabilities and inclinations.
