Thunder in Paradise (often subtitled: Hot Falls, Cool Drinks ) is a television series produced by Baywatch producers Douglas Schwartz and Michael Berk . The series only had one season.

Former Navy SEALs Randolph J. "Hurricane" Spencer and Martin "Bru" Brubaker are developing a futuristic speedboat called Thunder for the United States Navy . However, the military chooses the competition's boat; Thereupon the two decide to use the boat to hunt criminals and terrorists themselves.

Thunder is based on a speedboat . It's bulletproof and has a retractable hood. A complete command base is hidden inside. There is also a jet ski on board. The crew can sneak off board unnoticed through an underwater lock . The armament includes a Gatling automatic cannon, six guided missiles and a laser . Defense measures include a protective shield against fire, radar and a high-speed mode.

  • The main actor Hulk Hogan is an American professional wrestler. In the series, other wrestlers and wrestling managers often appear in guest appearances, such as Sting , Giant González , Tank Abbott, Jim Neidhart or Jimmy Hart .
  • The last episode, Blue Eye, is set before the pilot film The Unequal Couple . All of Thunder's technology is still in its infancy and many on-board systems do not always work. You can also see that the boat itself looks different in the last episode than in the previous ones. Ashley Gorrell , who plays Jessica Spencer, Spencer's adopted daughter, is also missing in the episode . At the end of the episode, Jessica appears, but played by Robin Weisman , who also embodies Jessica in the pilot film.
