Carol Alt
Carol Alt (born December 1, 1960 in East Williston , Long Island , New York ) is an American model and actress . She has been in a relationship with Alexei Valeryevich Yashin since 2002 , a 13-year-old ice hockey player for SKA Saint Petersburg . Her first marriage was to the ice hockey player Ron Greschner (November 2, 1983-1996, divorced) who played for the New York Rangers .
Carol Alt was one of the first models who could use her success in other areas. With her name she stands for her own product lines, publishes books and fitness videos and gets a chance as an actress.
After being discovered during her freshman year at Hofstra University in 1980 - she worked as a waitress - she made the cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine that same year and the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 1982 .
She also promoted beauty products and wrote a book ( Eating In The Raw: A Beginner's Guide To Getting Slimmer, Feeling Healthier, And Looking Younger the Raw-food Way ). Since 1986 she has mainly worked as an actress; so she played z. B. in Snakehead - The horror from the lake the biologist Lori Dale or in Swarmed the biologist Christine Brown.
In 2006 she was Grand Marshall of the 49th German American Steuben Parade .
