The horror film Snakehead was produced in 2004 under the direction of Paul Ziller . The film was marketed in Germany on June 13, 2005 on DVD .

action

The film is set near the lake in the small town of Cultus, which is currently experiencing an economic crisis. Sheriff Patrick James is notified that an animal carcass has been found on the bank. Mutilated bodies are later discovered. It turns out that mutant fish live in the lake, which have multiplied extremely through human growth hormones and can even reach the size of a whale. These snakeheads attack animals and people - even on land.

James asks the authorities for help, with support from the biologist Lori Dale. Dale and James rescue the attacked daughter of the sheriff, who wanted to avenge her boyfriend who was killed in a swimming competition, but who is herself in danger. The mutants are eventually killed using high voltage electricity that is fed into the water.
