Tiago Manuel Fernandes Ribeiro (born June 15, 1992 in Zurich ) is a Swiss football player who also has Portuguese citizenship. He has been with fifth division FC Freienbach in Switzerland since summer 2017 and is on contract.

Career

Ribeiro began his career in the youth of the Grasshopper Club Zurich and moved to Portugal in 2007, where he played for the youth teams of Benfica Lisbon and Sporting Braga .

In the senior division, he played for FC Vizela in 2011/12 and then moved to Sporting Braga , where he was not used in the first team. For the second team, he played 21 games. In 2013 he moved back to the Grasshopper Club Zurich and was only used in the reserve team. In 2014 he moved to the Indian club Mumbai City FC and after six months he moved to Os TF in Norway .

In 2015 he returned to his home country and played for two years for FC Dietikon and then for FC Freienbach . In the summer of 2018, the move to the Luxembourg first division club RM Hamm Benfica should follow, but in the end he stayed in Switzerland.

National team

From 2007 to 2010 Ribeiro played a total of 20 internationals (1 goal) for various youth national teams in Portugal .
