The Tianshengqiao Reservoir ( Chinese  天生橋水壩  /  天生桥水坝 , Pinyin Tianshengqiao shuǐbà shortly Tianshenqiao or Tian Shen Qiao 天生桥 , Tianshengqiao ), officially " Tianshengqiao hydropower station - Class One " ( 天生橋一級水電站  /  天生桥一级水电站 , Tianshengqiao shuǐdiànzhàn is) a dam on the border of the Chinese provinces of Guizhou and Guangxi , in the area of Anlong and Longlin counties . The Nanpan Jiang , a source river of the Hongshui He ( west river ) with a 178 m high CFR dam , one of the largest of its kind, is dammed. The dam bears the name of the large community of Tianshengqiao in the autonomous district of Longlin (Guanxi), the reservoir is called Wanfeng Hu ( 萬峰 湖  /  万峰 湖 ) and is the namesake for the large community of Wanfenghu in Anlong district (Guizhou).

The dam, completed in 1999, is used to generate electricity in a hydropower plant with a capacity of 1200 MW, which will be increased to 2520 megawatts in the final stage by additional turbines. The individual turbines have a capacity of 4 times 300 MW plus 6 times 220 MW.

The concrete wall on the water side , which is used for sealing, has an area of ​​180,000 square meters.

The switchgear of the power plant is the starting point for a 500 kV HVDC line to Guangzhou .
