History and description
The animal fountain from 1907 is the work of the sculptor Anton Lussmann from Frankfurt am Main . The fountain was donated by the Passet family.
The fountain consists of a large monolith with several basins for animals of all sizes; For example, on the lower side, made-to-measure water bowls for small dogs. The animal fountain is designed symmetrically, with plastic, lifelike animal heads made of bronze ; like the two horse heads and the two peacocks on the monolith.
