She sent this title to the Walloon TV station RTBF , which had launched a call for contributions to the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest . First, an internal jury was supposed to decide on the candidate, but this remained divided, so that RTBF held a national final. In addition to “Le Paradise perdu” , which she presented in a linguistically mixed version under the English title “Lost paradize” , the title “Le grand Soir” by Nuno Resende also competed for the ticket to Kiev . In the end, “Le grand Soir” won by 100 votes ahead of “Lost Paradize” , so that Nuno Resende went to the Eurovision Song Contest.

On the other hand , Lost Paradize reached number 10 in the charts , while Le grand Soir was only number 23.
