Tim Ganz (born June 3, 1997 in Kehl ) is a German handball player . The right winger plays for SG Pforzheim / Eutingen .

Career

Ganz began playing handball at the Baden club TV Auenheim. He then moved to the SSV Meisenheim in Rhineland-Palatinate . There he went through all youth teams until he joined HSG Rhein-Nahe in Bingen in 2013 to play in the A-Jugend Bundesliga. In qualifying, however, he failed with the team in the qualifying round. He moved back to SSV Meisenheim and played for two years with the men's team in the Association League Rheinhessen. In 2015 he then moved again to HSG Rhein-Nahe-Bingen in the Oberliga RPS .

For the 2017/18 season, Ganz moved to the second team of the Rhein-Neckar Löwen in the 3rd division . On March 24, 2018, he played his first game in the EHF Champions League against PGE Vive Kielce with the 2nd team due to a dispute over the date and scored four goals against the former world handball player Sławomir Szmal . On November 21, 2018 Ganz was appointed to the professional squad of the Rhein-Neckar Löwen for the first time. On November 29, 2018, he made his Bundesliga debut in the game against TSG Friesenheim .

In March 2019 he signed a professional contract with the Rhein-Neckar Löwen. Tim Ganz made his debut in the DHB Cup on August 17, 2019 against HG Saarlouis and scored his first five goals for the Lions. He played a total of 26 Bundesliga games and scored two goals.

For the 2020/21 season, Ganz switched back to the third division to SG Pforzheim / Eutingen.
