Tim Herd
Tim herds (* 1965 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German television journalist and crime - author .
After a traineeship with television in the GDR between 1983 and 1985, he studied journalism from 1985 to 1989 at the journalism section of the Karl Marx University in Leipzig. He then worked as a research assistant at this university until 1990. In 1991/92 he was an editor at German television , then from 1992 to 1998 a reporter and editor at Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk . Since 1999 he has been a correspondent and commentator in the ARD capital studio ; From 2003 to 2008 he was head of the MDR TV studio in Berlin. He has held this position again since July 1, 2016.
Herden lives in Berlin, is married and has one son.
