Tim Hill
Tim Hill is an American cartoonist , director , screenwriter, and producer .
Career
Tim Hill gained his first professional experience from 1993 to 1996 at Rockos Modern Life . In 2001 he worked on the animated series Action League Now! and from 1999 to 2008 he worked as a cartoonist for SpongeBob SquarePants . In 2006 he won the 2006 Annie Award with CH Greenblatt, Paul Tibbitt and Mike Bell for the episode The Fear of the Krabby Patty from SpongeBob SquarePants. The first film directed by Tim Hill was Muppets from Outer Space (1999), then Max Keeble's grand plan followed in 2001 and Garfield 2 in 2006 . His latest endeavor, and his greatest success, was the 2007 film Alvin and the Chipmunks, which grossed approximately $ 350 million in theaters. Tim Hill is the nephew of director George Roy Hill .
