Tim Insinger (born March 19,  1997 in Helpsen ) is a German basketball player .

career

Insinger, whose parents also played basketball, went through the youth department of the TV Bergkrug in his home community of Helpsen in the Schaumburg district . From 2013 he played for the team of TSV Neustadt am Rübenberge in the youth basketball league and then also played for the TSV men's team in the 2nd regional league. As an 18-year-old, he said he turned down an offer from Alba Berlin . In 2016, Insinger switched to the second men's team of SC Rasta Vechta (1st regional league) and became a top performer. He also took up a teaching degree in Vechta. In May 2019 he celebrated  his debut in Vechta's Bundesliga team in the game against Gießen .
