Tim Remer (born July 29, 1985 in Spijkenisse , Netherlands ) is a Dutch handball player .

Remer, who plays for JD Techniek / Hurry-Up (shirt number 85) and plays for the Dutch national team, is mostly used on the left wing .

Tim Remer only started playing handball at HVOS in his hometown when he was 14. A year later he moved to the next larger SV Atomium '61 in Rotterdam , and again a year later to Van der Voort / Quintus in Kwintsheul. In 2003 he signed a professional contract with the top club E&O Emmen, for which he also made his debut in the Dutch premier league. In 2004 - at the age of 18 - he received an offer from the German second division team TV Emsdetten , which he accepted. There he also recommended himself for higher tasks, so that he was committed in 2006 by the first division club TuS N-Lübbecke . With the Ostwestfalen Remer managed to stay in the league twice; In 2008, however, he could not prevent relegation. In summer 2018 he moved to the Dutch first division club JD Techniek / Hurry-Up . After the 2019/20 season, Remer ended his career as a handball player and took over as coach from Navique / SVBO.
