The Tingey Rocks are two small ledges on the coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . They tower southwest of Single Island on the western edge of the Amery Ice Shelf .

Scientists who surveyed the Prince Charles Mountains as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1971 discovered them. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after the geologist Robert J. Tingey (1940-2017), who was involved in the discovery.
