Tips for Wilhelm is a German indie / alternative rock band from Berlin , consisting of Guillermo Morales (vocals, guitar), Ruud van der Zalm (drums) and Thomas Wosnitza (bass).

history

The band was founded in 2013 and shortly after released their debut album Hornets (2014). The tour for the album started in the Berlin private club and included around 70 concerts in Germany and Switzerland. Among other things, they played at the Festival of Hamburg Kitchen Sessions and at TV Noir as part of the first Secrets Festival. After the tour, they worked two years on their second album, which they recorded in Berlin and in a country house on the Mecklenburg Lake District. In September 2018 they released the pre-single Ich see dich du mich nicht on the Berlin label Motor Entertainment , followed by Das Summen . On November 9th, 2018 the second album Put Your Head on My Shoulder was released . The album production was funded by the Initiative Musik .

The band owes its name to a good friend of the singer Guillermo Morales, who always sent him mixtapes with the inscription "Tips for Wilhelm". Wilhelm is the German translation by Guillermo .
