Tirana International Film Festival
The Tirana International Film Festival (TIFF) is Albania's oldest film festival ; it has been held annually in Tirana since 2003 . Part of the festival is a film competition whose jury consists of international film personalities .
The main prize of the film festival for the best feature film is the Golden Owl (Engl. Golden Owl ). In 2017 the best director , the best screenplay, the best film technique, the best editing, the best European feature film, the best documentary, the best feature documentary, the best medium-length documentary, the best short documentary, the best European documentary, the best short film, the best European short film, the best animated film , the best video art & best experimental film, the best student film, the best Albanian-language film, the best film produced in the Balkans, the best first production and a media award.
The festival is organized by the National Center for Cinematography (Qendra Kombëtare e Kinematografisë) , the successor to Albfilm .
