The Tirsuli West (also Tirsuli II ) is a 7035  m high peak in the Himalayas in Uttarakhand ( India ).

Tirsuli West is located in the eastern Garhwal Himalayas in the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve . The Tirsuli West is located in a mountain ridge running in a west-east direction, which frames the nutrient area of ​​the Siruanch Glacier in the north. To the south of Tirsuli West, the Bagini Glacier flows in a westerly direction. The summit is connected to Tirsuli (7075 m), 1.61 km further east, via a mountain ridge . The Hardeol (7151 m) rises to the south-southeast at a distance of 2.23 km .

Ascent history

Tirsuli West remained unclimbed in the 20th century. It was not until July 17, 2001, that a group of seven Indian mountaineers (Kulwant S. Dhami, SS Bhandari, Rattan Singh, Amrik Singh, Jagmohan Singh, Karamjit Singh and Laxman Singh) managed to climb the summit for the first time via the southwest ridge.
