The Tisobis Valley is a non-iced valley in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range , it is immediately northeast of Mount Henderson .
The team of New Zealand geologists from the University of Waikato , who carried out surveys in this area between 1978 and 1979, named the valley based on the naming of the Britannia Range after the name of the river Dwyryd in Wales in Roman times .
