Title of ancient Egyptian queens
The following list of titles of ancient Egyptian queens covers all periods of ancient Egyptian history. As early as the 1st Dynasty there were women with titles that could be identified as queens. The term royal consort certainly did not appear until the 4th dynasty , but then quickly became the most important title of queens. A majority of the titles were only held by queens, some of the following titles were also held by royal daughters . There are few titles that both queens, as well as from civil worn women.
