Titicaca (train)

The Titicaca is a luxury tourist train operated by the PeruRail railway company , which runs between Cusco and Puno on Lake Titicaca in Peru .

The train is a day train, purely for tourist operations, which carries observation cars and a dining car . The train runs three times a week in each direction. The journey takes 10:30 hours.

The car set was previously used for the Andean Explorer , which was also operated by PeruRail and should not be confused with the Belmond Andean Explorer . The interior of the car set is based on the historicizing Pullman cars from the interwar period. The end car is a pulpit car that is partially open to the rear .
