Titular diocese of Amantea
Amantea is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a bishopric in the city of Amantea , which is located in the Italian region of Calabria . The diocese of Amantea was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Reggio Calabria as a suffragan .
On February 8, 2018, Amantea was rebuilt as the titular seat by Pope Francis and was first awarded on February 26 of the same year.
