Titular diocese of Bethsaida
The diocese Bethsaida ( Italian diocesi di Betsaida , Latin Dioecesis Bethsaidensis ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a submerged bishopric in the ancient city of the same name , which was in the Roman province of Palestine secunda north of the Sea of Galilee . The bishopric was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Scythopolis .
