Titular diocese of Hamatha

Hamatha ( Italian : Amata ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to a former diocese named after the ancient city of the same name in the Roman province of Syria Coele or Syria salutaris in central Syria . The diocese belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Apamea in Syria .
