Paolo Rosario Farrugia
Paolo Rosario Farrugia (born August 22, 1836 in Caccia , Gozo , † December 21, 1907 ) was a Maltese Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in the Diocese of Malta .
Life
He received on 17 December 1859 sacrament of Holy Orders .
Pope Pius X appointed him titular bishop of Hamatha on June 3, 1907 and appointed him auxiliary bishop in Malta. He was ordained bishop on July 7th of the same year by the Cardinal Secretary of State Rafael Merry del Val y Zulueta ; Co- consecrators were Albino Angelo Pardini CRL , former Bishop of Foligno , and Antonio Valbonesi , former Bishop of Urbania e Sant'Angelo in Vado .
Paolo Rosario Farrugia died just five months after his episcopal ordination.
