The Tjaktjajaure is a lake in the municipality of Jokkmokk in the Swedish province of Norrbotten County . It is the fifth largest lake in the municipality and the ninth largest in Norrbotten.
Several smaller rivers - such as the Sitoälven and Rapaälven - carry water from the mountains into the lake. The discharge of the Tjaktjajaure is called the Bläckälven. All of them belong to the Luleälven water system via the Lilla Luleälven .
There are only a few houses in this sparsely populated area. The next place is Tjåmotis on Bläckälven. The Länsväg BD 805 runs through Tjåmotis - but the SCB does not publish any population figures even for this place because it is below 50. Jokkmokk is located about seventy-five kilometers to the southeast.
