Lake Tjeggelvas (also spelled Tjieggelvas ) is located in the municipality of Arjeplog in Norrbotten County in the Swedish historical province of Lapland north of Arjeplog . At an altitude of 451 m above sea level. located lake is 66.8 km² and has a maximum depth of 65 meters. The lake is the largest of the lakes in the Piteälven catchment area that flows through it. It is located in a Natura 2000 area .
The lake is around 40 long and up to 5 km wide and stretches from Västerfjäll in the northwest to the outflow of the Piteälven to Vuolvojaure in the southeast. It is accessed by a side road (No. BD-630) leading from Arjeplog to Stenudden on its southwestern bank.
