Tjen folket - communist forbund
Tjen folket - communistisk forbund (TF, German: Dem Volke Dienen - Kommunistischer Bund ) is a Marxist-Leninist - Maoist organization from Norway. It was founded in 1998 by former members of the Arbeidernes kommunistparti (AKP, German: Communist Party of Workers), initially as Tjen folket - ei marxist-leninistisk group (German: Dem Volke Dienen - Marxist-Leninist group ). In March 2009 the organization decided to rename it. The main goal of the organization is communism ; for this it considers the revolutionary overthrow of imperialism to be necessary in order to establish the dictatorship of the proletariat . To achieve this goal, it wants to create a new communist party based on the principles of Marxism-Leninism and the ideas of Mao Zedong .
The youth organization of TF is the Revolusjonær Kommunistisk Ungdom (RKU, German: Revolutionary Communist Youth), founded by a split from the youth organization of the Rødt (German: Rot) party, which was rejected as revisionist by TF , the Rød Ungdom (German: Red Youth).
Tjen folket was a founding member of the International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations (ICOR) together with 40 other parties and organizations . In June 2013 the organization announced its withdrawal from the ICOR.
