Tjuvholmen is an island in the Byfjord in the municipality of Stavanger in the Norwegian province of Rogaland .
The small rocky archipelago is located in the middle of the harbor area of the city of Stavanger, at the northern entrance to Vågen harbor . North of the island extends Buøy , southeast the archipelago are majors , Majorgrunnen and Majorskjeret . The only sparsely vegetated island extends over about 90 meters in a west-east direction with a width of up to 60 meters. It reaches a height of up to 7 meters.
There is a sea mark at the southwest point of the island. On the south side there is a small dock and a ladder leading to the island.
