Majorskjeret is an island in the Byfjord in the municipality of Stavanger in the Norwegian province of Rogaland .

The small, rocky, uninhabited archipelago island rises only slightly above the surface of the water. It is located in the middle of the port area of the city of Stavanger, in the northern part of the port of Vågen . The shoreline of the practically bare island is very rugged. It extends in a west-east direction over about 30 meters with a width of up to 20 meters.

Majorskeret is west of Engøy and south of Buøy . In the immediate vicinity there are small archipelago islands, just 40 meters south of Majoren and 50 meters to the west of the very small island of Majorgrunnen , further northwest of Tjuvholmen .
