Tobia Bocchi (born April 7, 1997 in Parma ) is an Italian athlete who specializes in the triple jump .

Career

Tobia Bocchi gained his first international experience in 2013 when he was eliminated from the qualification at the World Youth Championships in Donetsk with a width of 14.59 m. The following year he qualified for the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , where he won the silver medal with 16.01 m, as well as at the 2015 European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna with 16.51 m. In 2016, however, he was eliminated from the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 15.74 m in qualification and in 2018 he reached fifth place at the U23 Mediterranean Games in Jesolo with a width of 15.76 m. The following year he took part in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow , but did not reach the final there with 16.23 m. He then came fourth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 16.59 m.
