Tobias Ahrens (born April 9, 1993 in Henstedt-Ulzburg ) is a German football player .

Career

Tobias Ahrens grew up in Friesland in Grafschaft and started playing football at FSV Jever and from the F-youth at Heidmühler FC in Schortens . At the age of 11 he went to Werder Bremen . Up to and including the B-youth the young striker belonged to the Hanseatic city, then he moved to VfB Oldenburg in 2010 , where he played in the A-youth Bundesliga North / Northeast. After only a year he moved to the east within the league and joined Rot-Weiß Erfurt . He signed for two years. With the Thuringians, he was already in the senior team in the third division as a youth player . On October 1, 2011 he was used there for the first time as a substitute. Then he came several times to short appearances in the first and second round. Ahrens moved to Alemannia Aachen for the 2013/14 season .

Ahrens only made five appearances in the Regionalliga West during the 2013/14 season . He also played some games with the 2nd team in the Middle Rhine League . Ahrens left Alemannia after the 2013/14 season.

In the summer of 2014, Ahrens moved to the Regionalliga Nord for VfB Oldenburg. The 2014/15 season at Ahrens was particularly marked by injuries. After a knee operation in July 2015 and Achilles tendon problems , he was absent for a few months during the season. There was no improvement at the beginning of the 2015/16 season either. From July to December 2015, he failed due to persistent Achilles tendon problems. He only played eight games in the Regionalliga Nord for VfB Oldenburg.

Ahrens moved to the Turkish SV Oldenburg in January 2016 , which played in the Landesliga Weser-Ems (6th league). There, too, he was not used due to an injury and he left the club in the summer. Since then he has been without a club.
