Tobias Hertfelder (born February 19, 1982 in Crailsheim ) is a former German motocross rider, today's non-fiction author and entrepreneur. Tobias Hertfelder won the German Motocross Cup in 2005 and the German Motocross Amateur Championship in the sidecar class with his brother Fabian. He succeeded in winning 9 out of 10 races in 2005.

Life

Tobias Hertfelder was born in Crailsheim and spent his childhood in Kressberg - Schönbronn. At the age of fifteen he began an apprenticeship as a butcher, which he successfully completed. At the age of 21 he switched to Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart as a sports student, where he began to study business administration. In the final stages of his studies he ended his sporting career in order to be able to concentrate on his professional career. During this time he left Stuttgart and returned to his homeland. After successfully completing his studies, he turned more and more to management consulting with a focus on ERP . Since 2016, Hertfelder has been an entrepreneur and founder of an innovative IT start-up that deals with business process automation with the help of machine learning and artificial intelligence .

Hertfelder is married, now lives in Satteldorf and has two children.

Athletic career

Hertfelder began his motocross career in the national youth field at the age of eight. In 2001 he switched to the sidecar class. In this class he celebrated his greatest successes. In 2001 and 2002 he competed in the national championship with 6 different co-drivers, before his regular co-driver joined his brother Fabian in 2003. 2003 was deliberately used as an entry year to attack the national title from 2004. In 2004 Hertfelder missed the title and finished the season as runner-up. 2005 was the year of the promotion to the international class which could be crowned with 2 titles. From 2006 he will concentrate fully on both the German and the World Cup. However, an injury ended this season prematurely. In 2007, the first qualification for the world championship and the first top placements in the German championship took place. In 2007 Hertfelder ended his sporting career as a participant in the sidecar world championship . Hertfelder was able to achieve a total of 136 podium places in his career.
