The Sidecarcross World Championship ( Sidecarcross World Championship ) is the since 1980 by the International Federation de Motocyclisme (FIM) annually discharged world championship for sidecar - Motocross .

Before 1980, only one European competition was held from 1971 onwards. The world championship is held in different countries with several runs per Grand Prix. The team with the most World Championship points will be world champion. The first 20 teams from each race receive points. The points system for the 2015 season was determined by the FIM as follows:
