The Tobler Haustechnik AG is based in Urdorf was a Swiss building services - Wholesaler . The Tobler Group employed 750 people and generated sales of 350 million Swiss francs in the 2014/2015 financial year. Tobler Haustechnik has been part of the British Wolseley Group (today: Ferguson ) since 2003 .

Tobler took over the service organization Sixmadun in 2000. In 2011, Tobler System AG merged with Tobler Haustechnik AG, and in 2013 Keramikland AG was added. In 2013, Sixmadun AG was renamed Tobler Service AG and in 2015 it was integrated into Tobler Haustechnik AG as Tobler Heizungsservice.

On January 1, 2018, Walter Meier and Tobler Haustechnik AG merged to form Meier Tobler AG. The result was a building technology company with a wide range of products, components and accessories wholesaling, systems business and service. With this step, the system solution competence of Walter Meier was combined with the trading competence of Tobler.

Former field of activity

Until 2017, the Tobler Group consisted of three companies: Tobler Haustechnik AG, Tobler Service AG and Keramikland AG.

Tobler Haustechnik AG supplied the plumbing trade with products for heating , ventilation, sanitary and insulation .

Tobler Service AG (until 2012 Sixmadun AG ) was a well-known Swiss company for heating and building services. Products of the Sixmadun house brand and other manufacturers' brands as well as all building technology systems with maintenance requirements sold by the Tobler Group were sold.

Tobler has also been selling designer products for the bathroom with Keramikland AG since 2013. Until its dissolution in 2019, Keramikland was a specialist shop in the field of wellness, bath, showers and ceramic tile coverings.

history

Kurt Tobler founded a one-man business in 1957. Brother Max soon joined the company, and a little later the third brother Peter. The company was converted into a family corporation in 1974. With a management buyout in 2000, business activities were made even more dynamic. In the same year, the Sixmadun service organization was incorporated into the Tobler Group. The Tobler Group has been operating under the umbrella of the globally operating English Wolseley Group (today: Ferguson plc) since 2003. In 2005 Heinz Wiedmer took over the management of the Tobler Group. Tobler System AG merged with Tobler Haustechnik AG in 2011. At the same time, Tobler became a full-range supplier in the field of sanitary appliances. With the renaming of Sixmadun AG to Tobler Service AG, the group appeared under one brand in the areas of component trading, system business and service. Ceramicland AG was also integrated. On January 1, 2018, Walter Meier and Tobler Haustechnik AG merged to form the new Meier Tobler AG.
