Todor Petrov

Todor Petrow , actually Todor Petrow Dzhukov , ( Bulgarian Тодор Петров ; born July 20, 1878 in Novo Selo , † August 10, 1924 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian politician.

Life

From 1900 Petrov belonged to the Bulgarian Social Democratic Labor Party . He studied law at Sofia University . He is considered one of the socialist theorists in Bulgaria and worked with Dimityr Blagoew and Georgi Kirkow . In 1921 he became a member of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party . He was committed to cooperation between the party and the Bulgarian Peasant People's League and was one of the leaders of the September uprising in 1923 .
