Toepffers Park was a private park in the city of Magdeburg .

The park was created in 1884 at the instigation of the industrialist Richard Toepffer on a piece of land he had acquired, west of the Sachsenring . The city horticultural director Paul Viktor Niemeyer , who also designed the neighboring glacis , was commissioned to design the park .

Due to its design, the 13 acre park achieved the status of a regional attraction. From 1885 to 1891, the spacious Villa Toepffer , which still exists today, was built on the western side of the park as Toepffer's house.

Before the Second World War , however, the park was abandoned and built over in favor of building the site with spacious single-family houses. The street name Toepfferspark of the street that emerged on the park area still reminds of its existence .
