history

The political manor Tolz and the rural community of Tolz have existed side by side since the 19th century . In 1910 there were 159 inhabitants in the Tolz manor, and 38 in the Tolz rural community. Later the manor district was incorporated into the rural community.

Before 1945, Tolz formed a rural community in the Saatzig district of the Prussian province of Pomerania . There were no other places to live in the rural community. In 1925 the municipality had 218 inhabitants in 40 households, in 1933 221 inhabitants and in 1939 182 inhabitants.

After the Second World War, Tolz, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. The place name was Polonized to "Tolcz". Today the village forms its own Schulzenamt in Gmina Stara Dąbrowa (Alt Damerow municipality) .
