Toledo is a city in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the southwest of the Canelones Department in sector 16 . Toledo lies with the southwestern outskirts directly on the border to the neighboring district of Montevideo , which is formed here by the Arroyo de Toledo . Las Piedras is located a few kilometers to the west . In the west, it also flows into the 6th sector town of Villa Crespo y San Andrés .
history
The location was formerly known as the Capilla de Doña Ana .

With the Liceo de Toledo, which was founded in March 1989 as part of the Liceo del Sauce and has been independent since March 26, 1993, Toledo has a secondary school ( Liceo ).
