Tolyat Abdulhanijewytsch Schejchametov ( Ukrainian Толят Абдулганієвич Шейхаметов , scientific transliteration Tolyat Abdulhanijevyč Šejchametov ; born April 24, 1966 in Shahrisabz , Uzbek football player and later Ukrainian football player and later a former Soviet coach of Uzbek SSR ) . Since summer 2008 he has been assistant coach of the Ukrainian U-16 national team .
Career
player
The striker began his career as a professional player in 1983 at the age of 17 with the club in his Uzbek hometown, FC Khisar Shahrisabz, in the Uzbek second division. In 1985 he signed with FC Geolog Qarshi . In 1989 he played six games for Paxtakor Tashkent .
Before the collapse of the Soviet Union and Ukraine's independence , Shejchametov switched to Tawrija Simferopol in 1990 and won the first Ukrainian football championship with him in 1992 . The following season he was awarded to the Israeli club Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan , where he played only five games. In 1994 he was awarded to the league competitor Maccabi Herzlia for a year . After his return to Ukraine and the lost final of the Ukrainian Football Cup in 1994 against Chornomorez Odessa Shejchametow moved to MFK Kremin Kremenchuk . After a renewed loan for a season to Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan , he finally played 26 games for Kremenchuk in the 1995/96 season. His contract, which expired in 1996, was not extended. From 1997 to 1998 he played for MFK Mykolaiv before ending his career at FC Metalurh Nikopol in 1998 .
Trainer
Schejchametow looked after from 2007 as an assistant coach the 1st team of FK Krymteplyzja Molodischne . In spring 2008 he was briefly assistant trainer at FK IhroSerwis Simferopol . In the summer of 2008 Schejchametow took over the post of assistant coach of the Ukrainian U-16 national team .
