Tomás Henrique Knebelkamp (born March 1, 1985 ) is a former German-Brazilian volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Tomás Knebelkamp played volleyball in his youth at the North Frisian TSV Husum , with whom he took part in several German youth championships. He also played in the Schleswig-Holstein A youth national team. Knebelkamp was also very successful in beach volleyball : he was a national player, was German youth champion and took part in international youth championships.

From 2002 to 2006 Knebelkamp played in the juniors of the VC Olympia Berlin . He then went to Brazil for three years and was active in Blumenau and Foz do Iguaçu . In 2008/09 the Libero played for the German Bundesliga club VC Leipzig . After its bankruptcy, Knebelkamp was again active in Blumenau. In the 2010/11 season he played again in the Bundesliga with Chemie Volley Mitteldeutschland .

Knebelkamp lives in Brazil today.
