Oliver Schmäschke (born April 12, 1985 in Kiel ) is a former German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Oliver Schmäschke played volleyball in his youth since 1992 , first with FT Preetz and later with FT Adler Kiel , with which he participated several times in German youth championships. He also played in the Schleswig-Holstein A youth national team. Schmäschke was also very successful in beach volleyball : he was a national player, became German youth champion and took part in international youth championships.

In 2006 Schmäschke moved to Hamburg to Oststeinbeker SV , with whom he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga in 2007 . He also played under the club name Hamburg Cowboys in the following season. After the sporting descent and the financial end, he switched to the only second division club in Hamburg , Eimsbütteler TV . After a year break, Oliver Schmäschke was again active for Oststeinbeker SV in the regional league in the 2010/11 season.

In March 2014 Schmäschke was reactivated by the second division TSG Solingen Volleys . The first three games in which he was used, however, were counted as lost due to lack of playing eligibility.
