Tom Beckert is a sound engineer .

Life

Beckert began his career in the mid-1970s, his film debut was the Woody Allen - comedy The Straw Man . For his second film, Peter Yates ' adventure film The Depth , he was nominated for the first time for an Oscar in the category Best Sound in 1978 . The second and final nomination for an Oscar was in 1988 for The Witches of Eastwick .

In addition to his involvement in 53 films, he also worked on several television productions in the 1980s, including the television film Goliath - Sensation after 40 years .
