Tom Fritze (* 1965 in Munich ) is a German author .

Life

Tom Fritze graduated from high school in Munich, then studied Fine Arts & Graphic Arts in Los Angeles and journalism at the Sorbonne in Paris. In 1986 he got a record deal with the record label Teldec under the pseudonym John Damon. Fritze was produced and promoted by Thomas Fuchsberger , the son of Joachim Fuchsberger . With the hit release X-tasy, Fritze alias John Damon went on tour in Germany and had various television appearances, including with Thomas Gottschalk in Na-so-was and Formula 1 with Peter Illmann . In the early 1990s, Tom Fritze founded the advertising agency Images, which he left in the mid-1990s to work as a creative director in various agency networks in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. At the end of the 90s, Fritze moved to Venezuela, where he opened a go-kart track. He returned four years later and worked initially as a bouncer and production manager for film, and later as an advertising film director, screenwriter and producer. Fritze also shot nature documentaries, including Mystery of Nature for ORF in co-production with Greenlight Media, for which he also worked conceptually on the animated film series SimsalaGrimm . In 2004 Fritze published his first novel “Reldresal and the fortune of the dice” in Goldmann Verlag .

From 2005 to 2008 Fritze moved to China. There he wrote the spiritual life guide "Finally Happy!", Which was published in 2010 by YOU! During this time Fritze worked as an English and French teacher in a private school in Zhuhai , China. He married there and returned to Germany in 2009, where he has lived as a freelance writer, ghostwriter and director in Munich and Berlin ever since. In 2011 Fritze published the specialist book “Quantenland” in Arkana Verlag, in 2012 and 2013 he was responsible for numerous dubbed books for the TV series Southpark , Futurama and Friday Night Lights, Jungle Junction, Goldfish is evil, Karate Kids and others. In 2014 he published “ Hello, Mr. Rich ”as co-author of the Swiss celebrities Irina Beller in YOU-Verlag. Since spring 2015, Fritze's second novel “Happy End, oder was” has been completed.
